Please feel free to call me or email me with any questions that you may have and if I am unable to take your call I will endeavour to respond to any messages as promptly as possible. In any contact with me, your privacy will be protected at all times and I will ensure the security of any personal information received from you.
The First Session
Th first session is an initial assessment whereby you have an opportunity to talk about the issues that are concerning you and what you require from the counselling process to help you with those issues. This allows you to experience me as a therapist, how I work and to see if I am someone that you are going to be happy to work with.
Frequency of Sessions
Ideally, in order to establish a solid therapeutic relationship, I would recommend weekly sessions to begin with. This can be reviewed at any time and fortnightly sessions are an option. I endeavour to accommodate clients who work shift hours and are perhaps unable to attend at the same day/time each week. I will do my utmost to be as flexible as my commitments and diary will allow. Please do not hesitate to enquire.
Appointment Times
I work between 8.30am and 8.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Cost
The 50 minute session fee is £60 for individuals and £70 for couples. This is payable by cash at the end of the session or by BACS payment prior to attending. Advance payments can be made by debit/credit card using PayPal. Please go to the "Payment By Card" page on this website to select this option.
Location
My consulting room is discreet and peaceful and located in St Cross, Winchester close to the Water Meadows and St Catherine's Hill. The Cathedral and High Street are a 15 minute walk away and buses no1 and 69 stop immediately outside the practice. Free parking is available for up to 2 hours on the surrounding roads.
Winchester is accessible by public transport or car from many parts of Hampshire.
